Lumbung BOQ
Quantities and cost come straight off the project drawings, instead of a surveyor rebuilding the same spreadsheet by hand on every revision.
Overview
Lumbung BOQ is Lumbung Architect's white-labeled deployment of Cetharia's Design Intelligence module. It converts project drawings into itemised work volumes and a priced Bill of Quantities under the studio's own brand and office standards.
The problem
Quantity surveying is redone by hand on every drawing revision. The same measurements are re-entered into a spreadsheet, the numbers drift away from the drawings they came from, and a costing that took days is out of date as soon as the design moves.
What we built
Cetharia's Design Intelligence module deployed under Lumbung Architect's brand. AI locates the elements in the drawing, but every contract number, concrete, rebar, formwork, point counts and pricing, is computed by deterministic code rather than guessed.
Experience and workflow
Output follows the Indonesian quantity surveyor format the studio already uses: tiered sections, per-floor detail, VAT and a recap. Unit prices entered over time become the studio's own price library.
Results and proof
- White-labeled quantity takeoff running under Lumbung Architect's own brand
- Covers Structure, Architecture, and MEP
- Indonesian quantity surveyor output format, including per-floor detail and recap
- Quantities computed by deterministic code, not estimated by a model
Implementation note Next.js · FastAPI · PostgreSQL · DXF parsing

Cetharia
One platform where a drawing is uploaded once and feeds drafting, rendering, cost, and clash checking, instead of being retyped into four separate tools.
