Overview
OnPay is a decentralized payment gateway built on the Solana blockchain that enables merchants to accept any SPL token while always receiving USDC. The system performs real-time any-to-stable swaps so buyers can pay with whatever token they hold, and merchants receive stable value without exposure to crypto volatility.
The architecture is fully non-custodial — funds flow directly from buyer through the swap to the seller's wallet, with no intermediary holding funds at any point. Smart routing through the Jupiter aggregator ensures the best swap rates across Solana's liquidity pools.
With QR code payments for in-person transactions and transaction fees below 0.5%, OnPay makes crypto payments practical for everyday businesses.

The Challenge
Merchants want to accept crypto payments but face two major barriers: price volatility (receiving a token that could lose 20% overnight) and fragmentation (needing to support dozens of different tokens). Existing solutions are either custodial, expensive, or too complex for small businesses.
The Solution
We built a non-custodial payment gateway on Solana with automatic any-to-stable swap via Jupiter aggregator. Buyers pay with any SPL token, merchants always receive USDC. Smart routing finds optimal swap paths, QR codes enable in-person payments, and Rust smart contracts ensure security and speed at under 0.5% fees.
